Power Supply Wiring
The Edge28 can be powered by 24 volts AC or DC. The 0v wire from the power supply should be connected to the 24v - terminal on the Edge28. The 24v wire from the power supply should be connected to the 24v + terminal on the Edge 28. The 24v - terminal (or power supply 0v) should be connected to the Earth/Ground of the system to avoid issues with mismatched reference (GND) voltages for connected sensors.
Applying voltages greater than 12v to the DI, UI, DO, UO, or GND terminals will cause permanent damage to the Edge28 circuitry.
