Rubix CE: Cloud Connect

Prerequisites


Important things to note before proceeding:
1. you must need a cloud setup from nube-io
2. you need admin rights to the nube-cloud-dashboard
3. admin rights (username/password) for the cloud rubix-assit accound and the rubix-edge
4. the edge device and server device are both connected on the same network, or VPN or both have public IP addess


Adding a flow-network
- open drivers on the device you wish to create a network on
- click + Create 
- select remote network
- select network where you wish to share point between. (this is normally an edge to cloud but it can be between 2x rubix-computes)




adding token's

you need both the user name and passwords for the device and cloud server/hosts
*if this step failed please connect nube-support.




if eveything worked correctly we can check in the cloud server that the clone network was added

Adding points between edge and cloud

We need to add a network, this can be simply just the a system network or it can be any of the protocol networks like BACnet, lora or modbus

- if no network has been added please create a new network
- once created, open the device on the -> icon


add a new device and select the mapping

- tick the enable mapping
- select the flow network to create the mapping
